I saw a poster in a welfare office once that read "Silence Breeds Violence." I recently left a 3 and 1/2 year long abusive relationship, and the words from that poster are all too familiar to me.
I created this photomanipulation to try and convey my feelings on my abusive relationship and what I endured. I don't really think that anyone who hasn't been through the same thing could really understand it. I look back at my life and myself and even though my experience was relatively short, he managed to manipulate me and change me into someone that I'm not. Anyway, I'm going to stop before I go off on a tangent. |
